Modelo de gestión para la toma de decisiones en eventos populares: un análisis bibliométrico y de procesamiento de lenguaje natural

This study presents a management model for decision-making in popular events, combining bibliometric analysis and natural language processing (NLP) techniques. Seventy documents published in the last 40 years were collected from the Scopus database, applying bibliometric indicators and thematic visualizations to identify trends, collaboration networks, and emerging areas in event management. The analysis showed that decision-making, risk management, and the integration of technologies such as ERP, artificial intelligence, and machine learning are central themes in the field. Likewise, the LDA model was applied to extract key topics related to planning, monitoring, and evaluation, which allowed for the formulation of an action plan aimed at optimizing the Fruit and Flower Festival in Ecuador. This plan includes process standardization, training, technology adoption, performance indicators, contingency management, and innovation strategies. The results highlight the need for multidisciplinary, collaborative, and ethically responsible approaches to address the contemporary challenges of mass events. The combination of bibliometrics and NLP provides a solid framework for informed decision-making, enhancing the sustainability, operational efficiency, and social impact of popular events
