The Design and Analysis of Active–Passive Hybrid Vibration Isolation Mounts Applied in Pump

Pump vibrations are noticeable in a wide frequency range when the nuclear power plant is operating, particularly in the low frequencies when line‐spectrum vibrations are evident and complicated. Currently, the pump equipment uses a passive vibration isolation system. The low‐frequency vibration isolation effect is weak, despite the outstanding high‐frequency vibration isolation effect. In order to control the vibrations in wide frequency regions and the line‐spectrum vibrations in the low frequencies, the paper’s research on the design of the active–passive hybrid vibration isolation mounts. First, based on the analysis of the measured data, the line‐spectrum frequency parameters and output force amplitudes are determined, and then active actuator parameter selection and structure design are carried out. Second, based on the pump equipment’s technical characteristics and vibration isolation requirements, the dynamic parameters of the passive vibration isolation part are designed. On the basis of the active actuator and the passive vibration isolation part, the overall schemes of the active–passive hybrid vibration isolation mounts are formed. With the finite element analysis method, the vibration reductions of the active–passive hybrid vibration mounts isolation are calculated. Finally, the stiffness of the passive control system and the performance of the active–passive hybrid vibration isolation are verified by the shaking table in the laboratory. This experimental validation confirms the reliability of the vibration isolation system. Experiment results show that the active–passive hybrid vibration mounts can control the vibration of three significant line spectrums, and the vibration control effect in a single line spectrum is more than 6.3 dB. In this paper, the design method and analysis method of the active–passive hybrid vibration mounts provide guiding significance for pump equipment vibration control.
