EXPLORING STUDENT PERCEPTIONS OF TEACHER COMPETENCIES SCALE – HIGHER EDUCATION (ESPTC-HE)
The primary goal of this study was to create student perceptions of teacher competences scales, or SPTCs, which measure students' knowledge and comprehension of various learning approaches as well as their learning abilities' strengths and shortcomings. It was created especially to measure this, though. Thirty items were first developed and chosen using standard selection criteria and item-total correlation. This was followed by a classificatory index, reliability analysis on a total of 141 participants (70 females and 71 males), test-retest on a total of 64 participants (35 females and 29 males), and validity analysis on 77 participants, 54 females and 45 males. The entire data has a good Cronbach's α of.937, with female α of.947 and male α of.933. Internal consistency between the two trials for the test-retest of all data was judged to be satisfactory and good. 829, male.895, female.777. The analysis of significant validity for females was.850, for all data it was.857, but for males it was.868. Male pupils generally have a more significant opinion on the abilities of their teachers.
