Post-mortem identification of lithium plating in high energy automotive batteries
The performance of LIBs deteriorates over time due to various aging mechanisms, among which lithium plating (LP) is critical. The goal of this research was to analytically approve the presence of LP, prior identified by non-destructive methods.
