A study on the control problem of the fourth-order lorenz chaotic system

In this paper, based on the fourth-order Lorenz chaotic system, its complicated dynamic properties of the proposed chaotic system are revealed via time-domain waveforms and attractor shape diagram. We will, firstly, design controller by using linear feedback and adaptive feedback control, which stabilizes the system on its equilibrium point. Finally, the validity of the designed controller is validated via Matlab numerical simulation, providing some meaningful directions for choosing proper control methods in concrete applications.

Abstract

In this paper, based on the fourth-order Lorenz chaotic system, its complicated dynamic properties of the proposed chaotic system are revealed via time-domain waveforms and attractor shape diagram. We will, firstly, design controller by using linear feedback and adaptive feedback control, which stabilizes the system on its equilibrium point. Finally, the validity of the designed controller is validated via Matlab numerical simulation, providing some meaningful directions for choosing proper control methods in concrete applications.
