Modeling and Simulation of Opinion-Driven Rumor and Rumor-Debunking Propagation Dynamics in Dual-Layer Network
In social networks, rumor propagation and public opinion evolution mutually influence each other, forming complex co-evolution dynamics. To uncover this process, we propose the improved Susceptible-Latent-Forwarding-Immune-Jager-Amblard (SLFI-JA) rumor dynamic model based on the dual-layer network. This model quantifies various internal and external heterogeneity factors in information dissemination and opinion evolution while emphasizing the inhibitory effects of rumor-debunking on rumors. We conduct fitting analyses using real data from the Chinese Sina Microblog, validating the rationality and effectiveness of our model. Further analyses including model parameters, debunking timing, and network structure clarify the key factors in rumor control, providing theoretical support for developing intervention strategies. Our research contributes to rumor management and public opinion guidance, promoting the healthy development of cyberspace.
