The article is devoted to studying the relationship between higher education development and demographic characteristics of the Far North regions of the Far Eastern Federal District. The relevance of the study stems from the need to understand factors affecting student enrollment in higher education institutions in northern territories under conditions of demographic challenges and migration processes.
