Special attention is given to the important role of the fuel and energy sector in state economic policy system in terms of strengthening sovereignty, ensuring energy security, promoting economic, scientific and technological growth. It has been mentioned that the level of energy industry development directly affects the national economic models and each model has its own specific set of strategic priorities.
