Deshumanización e inmunización en el discurso evasivo frente a los "falsos positivos"
The article examines extrajudicial executions in Colombia, known as “falsos positivos”, focusing on the dehumanization of the victims and the significance of public mourning as a form of dissent and resistance. The analysis is grounded on the premise that the vulnerability of certain individuals turned them into “sacrificable bodies” in the eyes of a society shaped by a state-driven security narrative. This directive, propelled by the “security axiom,” promoted an immunitary logic that regarded anyone outside the dominant social order as a potential enemy. The article concludes that these immunization strategies can be challenged through political agency, the pursuit of truth, and the construction of a more inclusive historical memory.
