Uric Acid, Homocysteine, and Inferior Vena Cava Diameter for Early Risk Stratification After Non-ST Elevation Myocardial Infarction

Elevated homocysteine and uric acid independently predicted 90-day MACE in NSTEMI patients managed without revascularization. While IVC diameter was not independently predictive, its combination with biochemical markers may enhance risk stratification and guide early post-discharge management. These findings warrant validation in larger multicenter studies.

Abstract

Elevated homocysteine and uric acid independently predicted 90-day MACE in NSTEMI patients managed without revascularization. While IVC diameter was not independently predictive, its combination with biochemical markers may enhance risk stratification and guide early post-discharge management. These findings warrant validation in larger multicenter studies.
