Endodontic Management of a Unique Single-rooted Lower Molar
Abstract This paper reports on the uncommon canal morphology of a mandibular second molar with a single root and single canal. Endodontic treatment success relies on thorough understanding and management of root canal system variations, including accessory canals and complex configurations. Despite the typical anatomy of mandibular molars, variations such as single canals pose diagnostic and therapeutic challenges. This case underscores the importance of comprehensive knowledge of dental anatomy to enhance the outcomes of root canal therapy and reduce treatment failures.
