Preparation and Properties of Peelable Semiconductive Shielding for Polypropylene Insulation
In order to meet the high efficiency and ease of construction of medium-voltage power cable termination, this paper researches and designs a new type of polypropylene insulated peelable semiconductor shielding material. Polypropylene (PP) as a heat-resistant skeleton, high-density polyethylene (HDPE) as the main body, elastomer as a toughening agent of the ternary composite system. By regulating the type of elastomer and the amount of carbon black filler, the effects on the mechanical properties, peel strength, processing performance and volume resistivity of the shielding material are investigated. It is found that when the elastomer is POE and the filling amount of carbon black is 38 phr, the composite shielding material shows excellent mechanical and electrical properties, and the insulating surface is smooth and residue-free after peeling, which is in line with the performance index of peelable semiconducting shielding material.
