Electromagnetic Safety Simulation Study of Electromagnetic Safety Operation on $\pm 800 \text{kV} \pm 500 \text{kV}$ Same-Tower Double-Circuit DC Lines
In this paper, the electromagnetic safety risk of <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$\pm 800 \text{kV} / \pm 500 \text{kV}$</tex> same-tower double-circuit DC transmission line electrified operation is studied. By establishing electromagnetic field theoretical calculation model and human body multi-physical field finite element simulation model, the electromagnetic exposure level of the operating personnel when overhauling the conductor at different voltage levels is analyzed. The study shows that the induced electric field intensity on the surface of the operator's body, the magnetic induction intensity around the operator, and the induced current level in the body increase as the voltage level of the transmission line increases. The simulation results clearly reveal the potential safety risks of direct exposure of operators to a strong electromagnetic environment, highlighting the need for effective shielding measures. This study provides data support for the electromagnetic safety assessment and protection design of UHV DC transmission lines.
