Direction to Secure Routing: An Effective Model for Selecting Optimal Cluster Heads in WSN Cyber Security

In Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs), a secure routing refers to the creation and application of routing protocols and procedures that guarantee the availability, confidentiality, integrity and authenticity of data transmitted via the network. The issue of choosing the wrong cluster head (CH), which can lead to unequal energy usage and overlapping coverage in the cluster interactions, which is addressed by the dynamic CH selection techniques in light of the WSN clustering algorithm. Many security and routing methods have been developed to improve packet transmission efficiency; but, in sensor networks, determining the best path without compromising transmission reliability is a difficult work. In this research, our proposed Binary Cat Swarm Dependent Markov Chain Optimization (BCS-DMCO) approach combines Binary Cat Swam Optimization (BCSO) with Dependent Markov Chain Optimization (DMCO) for developing a secure channel for data packet routing. To improving cyber security in WSNs is the Direction to Secure Routing methodology, which identifies and secures critical nodes within the network architecture. The BCS-DMCO method outperformed than other existing approaches. In light of this, the routing option that uses the suggested BCS-DMCO based on the fitness value has the least amount of time and the minimum distance is acknowledged as the ideal way.
