Deriving IT Strategies from Times Higher Education Ranking
This study explores the correlations among key metrics from the Times Higher Education (THE) rankings over a 10-year period to derive actionable IT strategies for universities. Using rigorous analysis, including non-parametric correlation, the research identifies the most influential variables affecting institutional performance, such as research and teaching scores, citations, and internationalisation. The findings underscore the importance of aligning IT investments with these critical areas to enhance institutional rankings and competitiveness. Based on the analysis, targeted IT strategies are recommended to support the performance of higher education institutions based on the influential variables.
