The Transformation Of Stem Education: Moocs - Coursera In Vietnamese Education

The transformation of STEM education in Vietnam through MOOCs, particularly Coursera, has introduced new dimensions in teaching and learning experiences. This study examines the impact of key factors, including Empathy (EPT), Assurance (ASR), Classroom Reliability (CRR), Classroom Responsiveness (CRRS), and Tangibles (TGB), on student engagement in online STEM courses. Using Pearson correlation analysis ($n=146$), findings reveal strong positive correlations among these factors, with statistical significance at $p\lt 0.01$. The results suggest that fostering empathy and assurance in online classrooms enhances student satisfaction and perceived learning effectiveness. These insights contribute to the optimization of MOOCs in Vietnam’s STEM education, emphasizing the importance of an interactive and supportive learning environment.
