A Development of Training Model using MTIAP Technique for Electric Motor Control of Industrial

This paper presents a training model for industrial electrical technicians using the MTIAP process for electric motor control. The sample group consisted of 10 industrial plant employees, selected through purposive sampling. The training results showed a comparison of learning achievement using the MTIAP process, which includes 5 steps: 1) Motivation, 2) Thinking skills, 3) Information, 4) Application, and 5) Progress. The research tools used were training manuals, PowerPoint presentations, practical work, and learning achievement tests. The 10 sample participants were selected purposively based on their actual work experience as full-time employees of a lighting pole manufacturing factory. The research results are as follows: 1) The MTIAP teaching model was evaluated by experts at a high level. 2) The quality of the research tools was at a high level. 3) The effectiveness of the teaching model (1.41) was higher than the Megui criterion. 4) The learners’ satisfaction with the developed teaching model was at a high level. Therefore, it can be concluded that the MTIAP teaching model can be used for teaching and learning to create lifelong learning in other related work contexts.
