Creative Problem-Solving for Electrical Maintenance Re-Skills Development in Factory
This study aimed to design, develop, and evaluate the effectiveness of a Creative Problem-Solving (CPS) activity package to enhance new skills in electrical maintenance within industrial factories. The research employed Research and Development (R&D) methodology consisting of three phases: activity package design, quality inspection, and implementation with a sample of 33 factory employees. The results indicated that the developed CPS activity package exceeded the standard 80/80 criterion, with effectiveness scores of $\mathbf{E} 1=\mathbf{8 7. 2 7 \%}$ and $\mathbf{E 2}=\mathbf{9 0. 1 2 \%}$. A statistically significant improvement in learning achievement was observed at the 0.01 level ($\mathbf{p}\lt.01$), with average pre-test and post-test scores of $\mathbf{1 5. 3 0}$ and 39.52, respectively. Participant satisfaction was rated at the highest level ($M=4.55$), particularly in aspects concerning the instructor’s expertise and the participatory learning environment. These findings affirm the suitability and effectiveness of the CPS activity package in fostering practical problem-solving skills in industrial electrical maintenance contexts.
