Análisis del clima escolar y su relación con la convivencia estudiantil en la Unidad Educativa Agoyán

This study analyzes the relationship between school climate and student coexistence at the Agoyán Educational Unit, located in the canton of La Joya de los Sachas, province of Orellana, Ecuador. The research adopted a mixed approach with a correlational design, applying surveys to 245 students and semi-structured interviews to 15 teachers. The results revealed a significant positive correlation (r = 0.78) between positive school climate and the quality of student coexistence. Interpersonal relationships, effective communication, leadership, and student participation were identified as determining factors. The most influential dimensions were mutual respect, peaceful conflict resolution, and a sense of institutional belonging. The study concludes that strengthening the school climate through participatory and collaborative strategies significantly improves student coexistence, reducing incidents of school violence by 42% and increasing student satisfaction with the educational environment by 35%.
