Simulation and seismic performance data analysis of bolted connections between square steel pipe columns and BRB honeycomb beams

This article innovatively designs a new type of square steel tube column BRB honeycomb beam bolted connection node. In this node, the buckling constraint concept is introduced to connect the square steel tube column and the T-shaped steel plate flange plate to prevent local buckling from affecting the seismic performance of the structure. Firstly, drawing on the experimental data of non buckling restrained plates, a proportional model was established using ABAQUS. After successful verification, the node model designed in this paper was established. By comparing the seismic performance with and without buckling restrained plates, it was determined that the addition of buckling restrained plates can improve the seismic performance of the nodes. Then, a total of 16 specimens were designed by varying the thickness of the buckling restrained plate, the opening rate of the honeycomb beam, and the pre tightening force parameters of the bolts. Through modeling and simulation calculations, the seismic performance parameters of these specimens were obtained and their effects were analyzed. Finally, the most parameterized design of the nodes designed in this article was summarized, providing reference for future research.
