Preparation and Properties of Eco-Friendly Piezoelectric Composites Based on Bacterial Cellulose/ $\text{ZnFe}_{2} \mathrm{O}_{4}$

Optimization of the properties of biodielectrics and nanocomposites is an important direction in current research on insulating materials. Herein, a novel bacterial cellulose/ zinc ferrite flexible piezoelectric composite was prepared by co-precipitation method. The results showed that the introduction of <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$\text{ZnFe}_{2} \mathrm{O}_{4}$</tex> significantly enhanced the interfacial polarization effect, increased the dielectric constant of the composite from 2.78 to 45.30, optimized the piezoelectric response characteristics with a piezoelectric sensitivity as high as <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$64.61 \text{mV} / \mathrm{N}$</tex>. The material is based on the bio-dielectric BC, which combines high sensitivity and long-life characteristics, providing a new strategy for the design of environmentally friendly insulation materials for smart wearable sensors, flexible electronic devices, etc., and expanding the potential application of biodielectrics in extreme mechanical deformation scenarios.
