TO THE QUESTION OF IMPROVING THE TECHNOLOGY OF SEPARATION OF FOREST SEEDS ON SCREENS

The process of separating seeds of forest crops on flat swinging sieves using a hole cleaning mechanism is considered. The results of an experimental study of the use of a mechanism for cleaning sieve openings equipped with cylindrical brush working bodies are presented. The disadvantages of the sieve hole cleaning mechanism identified during operation are described. It is determined that when separating seeds of forest crops at significant specific loads, it is necessary to ensure an increase in the number of sieve openings involved in the technological process precisely through the use of cleaning mechanisms. It has been established that the improvement of cleaning mechanisms in the treatment of forest seeds should primarily be aimed at establishing optimal design and kinematic parameters of their operation, as well as the choice of types of working bodies.
