The impact of GNGT1 on clinical pathological staging and the immune microenvironment in colorectal cancer
Increasing evidence also indicates a role for GNGT1 across different solid tumors, but its detailed role in colorectal cancer (COAD) is still under investigation. We seek here to clarify the role of GNGT1 expression in COAD. For the functional characterization of GNGT1 we performed GO, KEGG, GSEA and immune infiltration analyses. We found GNGT1 expression was significantly elevated in COAD, while ROC analysis further confirmed it as a potential diagnostic biomarker. This study focused on the relationship between GNGT1 expression level and tumor clinical stage and immune cell infiltration. Aberrant expression of GNGT1 was significantly associated with immune cell infiltration, highlighting its potential as an independent prognostic biomarker and therapeutic target.
