The Editorial Team of the Statelessness & Citizenship Review was deeply saddened to learn of the recent passing of Ravi Hemadri (1959Hemadri ( -2025)), a tireless champion of the rights and dignity of stateless people, refugees, migrant workers and Indigenous Peoples.As Director of the Development and Justice Initiative, Ravi's quiet strength, moral clarity and deep humanity inspired all who knew him.In addition to his work in India, he was deeply connected to and supportive of statelessness efforts across the Asia-Pacific region and globally.He stood unwaveringly for dignity, inclusion and justice -leaving behind a legacy carried forward by the many lives he touched and empowered.
