Enhancing Financial Well‐Being: Solution‐Focused Financial Therapy Intervention
ABSTRACT This study investigates the effectiveness of solution‐focused financial therapy (SFFT) in improving financial well‐being (FWB) among adults in India using an experimental design. A sample of 120 participants was randomly assigned to an intervention group ( n = 60) and a control group ( n = 60). The intervention group underwent a 6‐week SFFT programme, whereas the control group received no intervention. FWB was measured pre‐ and post‐intervention. Results showed a significant improvement in FWB scores for the intervention group compared to the control group, suggesting that SFFT can be an effective approach for enhancing FWB in emerging economies.
