OPTIMIZATION OF TRAFFIC LIGHT CYCLES AT REGULATED INTERSECTIONS WITH WIDE DIVIDING LANES

The paper presents a methodology for optimization of traffic light cycles at regu¬lated intersections with a wide dividing strip. The algorithm is based on the calculation of the inter¬section clearance interval taking into account the geometry and characteristics of the traffic flow.
