Quantitative Schlieren Xray Tomography for the 3D Determination of Chemical and Sturctural Composition of Batteries

Xray imaging is the staple of industrial imaging by providing deep penetration into most materials combined with elemental specificity. Phase imaging methods have been found to have less noise than absorption images for a given illumination flux. As a result, fast imaging methods measuring both the phase and intensity of light are in great demand.

Abstract

Xray imaging is the staple of industrial imaging by providing deep penetration into most materials combined with elemental specificity. Phase imaging methods have been found to have less noise than absorption images for a given illumination flux. As a result, fast imaging methods measuring both the phase and intensity of light are in great demand.
