Rigorous and efficient diffraction modeling between tilted planes
Accurate and efficient diffraction modeling between tilted planes is crucial for predicting the optical fields in complex geometries. However, existing methods often suffer from either low accuracy or computational inefficiency. In this work, we present a novel approach for calculating the optical field distribution on a tilted plane by integrating angular spectrum projection with the matrix triple product. Our method significantly enhances computational efficiency for both scalar and vectorial diffraction while nearly eliminating numerical errors. Additionally, we investigated the computational efficiency with the variation of intersection angle between planes, demonstrating that optimal efficiency is achieved when the planes are parallel or orthogonal.
