Simultaneous Wireless Power and Data Transfer System With Full-Duplex Mode Based on T-Type and M-Derived Filters
The crosstalk from the power channel and co-side data sources to the data channel is a critical factor limiting the data transmission reliability of a wireless power and data transfer (SWPDT) system. To address this issue, this article proposes a transmission topology and its parameter design method from the perspective of filtering, aiming to enhance the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) of the SWPDT system under full-duplex communication mode. A flexible and freely designable T-type filter is added to the double-sided LCC topology to further suppress higher-order harmonic crosstalk in the power transfer channel. Meanwhile, the loss model of the T-type filter is established, and parameter selection principles are proposed to prevent additional losses. In the data transmission channel, an M-derived filter is used to separate the data carrier, with its zero frequencies significantly reducing power and co-side data crosstalk. By analyzing the impedance of each part, the data transmission transfer function is derived. The interference from power and co-side data sources is analyzed, and the SNR expression is derived, along with a discussion of the factors affecting SNR. Finally, the feasibility of the proposed method is verified through a prototype with a data rate of 80/100 kb/s and a power output of 1 kW.
