TIRZEPATIDE AND CLINICAL OUTCOMES ASSESSED BY IMAGING: COMPARISONS WITH SEMAGLUTIDE AND INSULIN IN TYPE 2 DIABETES AND OBESITY
Introduction: The increasing prevalence of type 2 diabetes and obesity highlights the need for therapies that address both glycemic control and weight reduction. Tirzepatide, a dual GIP and GLP-1 receptor agonist, has shown superior results compared to semaglutide and insulin glargine. Imaging techniques provide objective evidence of its structural and functional benefits.
