Time-Resolved Complex Optical Field Imaging of Deep-UV Nanosecond Pulsed Laser Processing of BK7 Glass Using Linear Absorption Process
Nanosecond pulsed laser processing is a versatile microfabrication technology that offers high precision and efficiency, particularly with ultraviolet (UV) pulses, which outperform near-infrared pulses in industrial applications [1]. However, the process involves complex, multi-scale phenomena across both space and time, which limits a comprehensive understanding. The pump-probe method has uncovered key processes, such as photo-absorption and surface material removal [1], [2]. Nevertheless, spatiotemporally resolved observations of internal structural and thermal events remain limited, leaving critical dynamics unexplored.
