Tracing the Internal Fine Structure of Quasi-1D Excitons Controlled by Magnetic Order in CrSBr
Many of the surprising properties of novel quantum materials result from Coulomb correlations that define electronic quasiparticles and their interaction chains. In van der Waals layered crystals, enhanced correlations have been tailor cut in reduced dimensions, enabling excitons with giant binding energies and emergent ferroelectric, ferromagnetic and multiferroic phases [1], [2]. Yet, correlation design has primarily relied on structural engineering.
