Threshold Parameters Optimisation in Bichromatically Driven Microresonators for On-Chip Degenerate Optical Parametric Oscillators
Integrated microring resonators (MRR) are a prominent platform for quantum computing and other applications that surpass classical approaches [1]. When combined with bichromatic pumping, these systems provide robust and scalable solutions for coherent Ising machines or on-chip devices for generation of non-classical states of light via degenerate optical parametric oscillations [2], [3]. Despite their proven effectiveness, explicit and universally applicable details on the threshold parameters for this process have yet to be thoroughly addressed in the literature.
