Near-Field Spatiotemporal Nanoscopy of Lead Telluride Meta-Atoms
Lead chalcogenides have emerged as highly promising materials for nanophotonics and optoelectronics, owing to their high refractive indices, remarkable thermo-optic coefficients, and excellent transparency in the mid-infrared (MIR) spectrum [1]–[4]. In this study, PbTe hoppercubes (HCs)—characterized by their open-face cubic geometry—were synthesized via a hydrothermal method and investigated for their unique MIR resonant properties.
