Photo-Patterned Plasmonic Multilayers Exhibiting Different Vivid Colors in Specular and Diffuse Reflection
Plasmonic colors are highly valued for their vibrancy, fade resistance, and eco-friendliness, as they rely on structural effects rather than pigments. By exploiting interference and plasmonic resonances in multilayer systems, a wide spectrum of hues can be achieved [1]. Laser processing enhances this versatility by enabling precise, post-fabrication tuning of colors through localized transformations of embedded nanoparticles. This approach offers scalability, efficiency, and dynamic design capabilities, with potential applications in anti-counterfeiting, sensors, and decorative materials [2, 3].
