Tunable Phosphosilicate Fiber Oscillator Mode-locked With a Nonlinear Inline Interferometer
The recent success in Yb:YLF amplifier technology requires an adequate to the amplifier bandwidth seeder. Here, we demonstrate a Phosphosilicate fiber oscillator mode-locked with a nonlinear inline interferometer. The use of a birefringent plate enables to implement a non-PM gain shifted Yb-doped fiber to generate ultrashort pulses at 1016 nm center wavelength, matching the peak emission cross section for cryogenically cooled Yb:YLF amplifiers [1].
