Kilowatt-Level Femtosecond Thin-Disk Laser Without CPA
High-repetition-rate femtosecond lasers with kilowatt-level average powers have become essential tools in various scientific and industrial applications[1], [2]. These laser sources with pulse energies ranging from 10 μJ to millijoules, significantly enhance material removal rates while enabling higher processing speeds due to their high average powers. Additionally, their GW-level peak powers provide advantages for driving cutting-edge sources, including extreme ultraviolet (XUV), terahertz (THz), and attosecond pulse generation.
