Monolithically Integrated Low Repetition Rate Mode-Locked Lasers
Semiconductor mode-locked lasers (MLLs) have established themselves as versatile optical sources with a wide range of applications, including optical communications [1] and radio-over-fiber systems [2] and free-space optics [3]. Photonic integration enables significant reductions in the size, weight, and power consumption (SWaP) of these devices, enhancing their practicality for various applications.
