PRINCÍPIO DA MOTIVAÇÃO DAS DECISÕES JUDICIAIS
This paper puts forward an analysis of the principle of motivation for judicial decisions, as set out in art. 93, IX of the Federal Constitution of 1988. The methodology used is based on the analytical technique of research in books, articles and study of legislation on the topic that addresses that judicial decisions must be substantiated, under penalty of nullity. A summary of the decision from the Federal Supreme Court is also presented in which the ruling was declared null due to lack of motivation.
