A Novel Approach for Scalable Production of Low Noise Two-Stage Frequency Converters for NV Center Qubits in Telecom-Based Quantum Networks
Quantum networks interconnecting quantum processor nodes via optical fibers promise groundbreaking applications in fields like secure communication, distributed quantum computing, and enhanced quantum sensing [1]. These networks require quantum frequency conversion (QFC) to bridge the spectral gap between the optical fibers' low-absorption window near 1550 nm and the qubit platform-specific emission wavelength in the visible spectrum.
