Bound States in the Continuum in Hybrid Plasmonic–Photonic Architectures

We present a hybrid plasmonic–photonic metasurface with a modulated periodic structure to achieve multiple quasi-bound states in the continuum modes under normal incidence. By tuning the architecture, we enhance light confinement and sensitivity without angular tuning, offering a versatile platform for optical sensing applications.

Abstract

We present a hybrid plasmonic–photonic metasurface with a modulated periodic structure to achieve multiple quasi-bound states in the continuum modes under normal incidence. By tuning the architecture, we enhance light confinement and sensitivity without angular tuning, offering a versatile platform for optical sensing applications.
