Modeling and Simulation of Alkaline Electrolyzers in Photovoltaic Coupled Hydrogen Production Systems
This article describes the operational status of an alkaline electrolyzer: we use simulation software and select the appropriate materials to simulate an alkaline electrolyzer to understand the importance of alkaline electrolyzers, their associated performance, and the challenges and trends they face. The innovation in this paper lies in the use of alkaline electrolyzers for offshore hydrogen production projects. Through the simulation and comparison of the operating state, the reasonable structural model parameters are obtained. During the inspection process, we can identify potential problems in a timely manner, improve the performance and reliability of the equipment, reduce operating costs, and minimize the impact on the environment. All of these aspects strongly support the optimal design and sustainability of alkaline electrolyzers. This approach not only helps in maintaining the efficient operation of existing alkaline electrolyzers but also offers valuable insights for the future improvement and innovation in this field. It enables researchers and engineers to make more informed decisions in all aspects of material selection, process optimization, and system integration.
