Analytical Modeling of Interior Permanent Magnet Mators Considering Rotor Magnetic Bridge Saturation

For the interior permanent magnet synchronous motor (IPMSM), this paper proposes a novel equivalent magnetic network model (EMN), focusing on the dynamic magnetic network construction of the air gap and the nonlinear iteration of rotor magnetic bridge saturation. First, the composition and solving principles of the EMN are introduced. Based on this, a dynamic magnetic network model is constructed for the IPMSM. The nonlinear iteration of magnetic permeability is applied to consider rotor magnetic bridge saturation within the dynamic magnetic network model. Then, the electromagnetic characteristics are solved using the proposed dynamic magnetic network model with saturation consideration, particularly comparing the spatiotemporal characteristics of the air gap flux density. Finally, experimental results are provided to validate the effectiveness of the model.
