STUDY ON FISH AVAILABILITY IN THE LOCAL MARKET OF ABHONA AND KALWAN, NASHIK (MAHARASHTRA)

The Fish market status shows the availability of major and minor carp and their selling near to catchment area of Chankapur Dam of Kalwan Tahsil.In this study we analyzed the Fish species availability and their sell in Local market of Abhona and Kalwan in the period from November 2024 to January 2025.The fish specimens observed in these two markets are Catfish, Rohu, Mrigal, Combada, Grass Carp.Murrel, Wam, Bangada, Basa, pomfret, Eel, and Prawn were most available because of those species has highest demand in the Local market of Abhona and Kalwan.
