DIFERENTES PERCEPÇÕES DOS PROFESSORES DE ENSINO MÉDIO SOBRE A EDUCAÇÃO AMBIENTAL: UMA REVISÃO SISTEMÁTICA DE LITERATURA

The environment has been suffering degradation caused by human action, resulting in its modification and, at the same time, care being neglected, leaving aside the use of natural resources in a sustainable way. With the help of Environmental Education (EE), sustainable development can be used to change habits in society, starting from the school environment. The research consisted a systematic literature review (SLR) on the different perspectives of teachers on EE. The study approach was qualitative in nature, carrying out a bibliographical survey on the topic and using SLR as a methodology. Seven (7) articles were evaluated, demonstrating a need for more research on the topic. The need to include EE in the initial training of teachers, as well as in their continued training, was perceived. Educational spaces must enable debates, with a view to raising awareness and current and future environmental challenges. EE is rarely used in classrooms, but teachers are able to carry out projects on the topic. By approaching it in an interdisciplinary way, it enables completeness between knowledge, and with transdisciplinary attitudes, there can be an understanding of other points of view of the world. Finally, to increase awareness about EE, it is recommended that it be approached at all levels of Primary and Secondary Education
