Knowledge-based accuracy and similarity measures in Interval-valued Neutrosophic context and their applications in wastewater treatment method decision-making
The role of Interval-valued Neutrosophic Knowledge measures and Entropy measures is crucial. The main objective of this manuscript is to study the knowledge measures that apply to decision-making problems for interval-valued neutrosophic sets. In this manuscript, an Interval-valued Neutrosophic Knowledge measure is proposed. The suggested measure is checked for consistency and efficacy by comparing it with some existing measures in the Interval-valued Neutrosophic context. Similarity as well as Dissimilarity measures are also proposed in the Interval-valued Neutrosophic context. Aside from that, an Interval-valued Neutrosophic Accuracy measure is derived from the proposed measure. Their applications are given for solving Pattern identification problems to show their effectiveness. Further, a decision-making technique is discussed by merging the TOPSIS and VIKOR approaches. Finally, the proposed decision-making approach is applied to treat wastewater by selecting an appropriate method in a case study. The suggested technique’s effectiveness is demonstrated by comparing it to existing decision-making techniques. • A Knowledge measure for Interval-valued Neutrosophic ( IVN ) sets is proposed. • Shortcomings of previous known IVN -information measures are shown by examples. • Similarity, Dissimilarity, and Accuracy measures are derived from the proposed Knowledge measure in the IVN context. • The applications of derived measures are given in the Pattern detection problem. • VIKOR-TOPSIS technique is introduced to select best method for treating wastewater.
