217 Neighborhood Socioeconomic Disadvantage and STI Positivity Among Emergency Department Patients in New York City
Sexually transmitted infections (STIs) disproportionately affect socioeconomically disadvantaged communities, but the role of neighborhood-level factors in shaping STI risk among emergency department (ED) patients is underexplored. We examined the association between STI test positivity and census block group-level socioeconomic characteristics among ED patients tested for STIs across six EDs in New York City (NYC).
