Métodos sostenibles para la síntesis de cromenos: avances recientes
The search for environmentally friendly chemical processes aligned with the principles of Green Chemistry has gained increasing interest in recent years. In this context, multicomponent synthesis has emerged as a key strategy in Organic Chemistry, enabling the production of heterocycles with potential biological activity, such as chromenes. These compounds are highly valued in the pharmaceutical industry and exhibit a broad spectrum of bioactivities. Consequently, various methodologies, materials and a wide range of catalytic materials have been developed for their synthesis. Among the most studied approaches are microwave irradiation and ultrasound, due to their efficiency and sustainability. In this review, synthesis methods that adhere to the principles of Green Chemistry are presented and analyzed, promoting highly sustainable processes with a lower environmental impact.
