Resilient Suppliers Selection in Pharmaceutical Industry – An International Perspective
This study strategically evaluates the financial status of the pharmaceutical industry to provide insights for minimizing disruptions and improving supplier networks. Focusing on supplier disruption assessment and resilient supplier selection, the research utilizes Bayes' Theorem, emphasizing conditional probability. Examining three companies from each, India, China, and Singapore are key supplier nations to Bangladesh. Averages of conditional elements determine the probability for each country, integrated into Bayes' Theorem to identify the most reliable supplier. The report emphasizes proactive measures to enhance supply chain resilience in Bangladesh's pharmaceutical sector, urging industry players and policymakers to take specific actions. The findings underscore the importance of resilience and offer applicable insights for any industry with comparable data. The paper concludes with targeted recommendations for fortifying the sector against future challenges.
