The Role of Environmental Education in Reducing Electronic Pollution: A Theoretical Analytical Study

This study explores the role of environmental education as a strategic tool in mitigating the adverse effects of electronic pollution. It focuses on analyzing the interaction between educational curriculum content and levels of digital environmental awareness. The research adopts a theoretical-analytical approach to assess the extent to which environmental education contributes to reducing electronic waste generation and promoting sustainable practices in the use of digital devices. Findings suggest that embedding digital environmental concepts within the educational context significantly aids in curbing electronic pollution by guiding individuals toward responsible and sustainable behavioral patterns. Accordingly, the study recommends integrating digital environmental topics into educational planning, developing supportive policies for sustainable e-waste management, and enhancing digital environmental awareness across various segments of society.
